Dispatch Policy

While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. Goods are normally dispatched within one week. If we are unable to despatch your order within 14 days (unless previously stated before purchase), we will contact you by e-mail with an estimated despatch date and conditions as to the nature of the delay. If the shipment of your order exceeds 14 days after receipt of funds -  you will be entitled to a refund for your purchase if you decide to terminate the order.

Please note that all purchases made outside of the UK will be liable to pay import/customs fee upon entry of the artwork into the country of choice. This cost is not included in the shipping fee on our website and is a 3rd party cost for which the client is liable.

Prices and Tax

The price shown for the goods are inclusive of VAT but exclude postage and packing. The price you pay will include VAT on all good and deliveries within the UK Mainland. As of Friday 1st January 2021 The UK left the European Union  and as a result some of our tax and shipping policies have changed. If you live in the UK, your buying and shipping experience from Institut Editions will not be affected.

However, if you reside in a country in the EU, there are a couple of things you may need to be aware of:

- You will no longer have to pay VAT on your purchases with us.

- If applicable, you will be required to pay import on any purchases from us. These charges will not be covered within your order and you will be liable to pay these charges when your work is being processed at customs.

-  The shipping of our works may take a little longer than you are used to due to the new customs procedures.

Artistic Integrity of Artist Prints

In order to maintain artistic integrity of the limited-edition works and to dispel any monopolisation of the editions: purchase of multiple prints from any given edition will be capped at three artworks per client. If you have purchased more than three prints in any given edition; we will get in touch to inform you that any excess pieces above that of three will be kept under gallery possession, and you may be refunded the excess amount. If you have any queries regarding our three-print rule please get in touch at editions@unitlondon.com.

Cancellation and Returns

If you are not satisfied or wish to return your print, we operate a 14 day return policy for all of our limited edition artworks from the date of purchase (or if the edition has not arrived to you within those 14 days - 7 days from receiving the artwork). Please inform us at your earliest convenience of this decision, and a member of our team will be in touch with further instructions about the return of the edition to the gallery and any applicable refunds. Please note that all returns (excluding damage) will be dependent on the artwork being returned to the gallery in the same condition in which it was originally dispatched.

If your limited edition artwork has been damaged - you will be entitled to a full refund or replacement good (all permitting). Please note that all refunds due to damage are restricted to harm incurred prior to receiving the product; such as during shipment. The gallery is not liable for any damages incurred once the edition is in your possession, this includes but is not limited to the defects that arise due to failure to follow our oral or written instructions as to the storage, installation, use or maintenance of the work. We strongly recommend that Editions are checked immediately on receipt and that we are notified of any damage by email within 14 days of delivery. We are not able to process refunds outside of this 14 day timeframe.

Returns and exchanges of our Apparel range are extended to a period of 14 days upon which you can return the product to the gallery for a full refund or exchange; so long as the product is in good condition.

Please send us an e-mail prior you returning your purchase, informing us that you are returning the goods and why.
