Tsai originally came into the limelight in 2008 when he created the now iconic floral skull emblem for British fashion designer Alexander McQueen whilst studying for his Masters at Central St. Martins, London. Liber Lewis holds an MFA from the Royal College of Art and a BA from Central Saint Martins. Colour and shape are central to her works, but Lewis adamantly resists classification. Her abstract works shift between what is seen and what is felt, blurring the lines between control and surrender. Liber Lewis’ work has been exhibited widely across the UK and Europe, including at her solo show Muscle Memory at Elephant West in 2019, and most recently the duo show ‘Between The Lines’ at Meakins and Parsons, Oxford in 2022. Liber Lewis’s work ‘Anna’ was featured in Unit London’s group exhibition ‘Sign Systems’ in 2022.
