About Duncan Jago

Duncan Jago previously illustrative work has been advanced over the years to a place of pure abstraction - subtly shifting hues burst and drip in an expressive manner. Using both acrylic and spray paint these works reflect the artist’s love of the natural world: they encompass both the terrain and canopy of the earth’s atmosphere, at once reminiscent of leaves on a forest floor and stars in the night sky.

“A love of nature has been the biggest influence on my work, the forms and flows that exist within it seem to be appearing … more and more nowadays.”

Caring for your Print

Here are a few tips on how to best take care of your new framed work on paper!

Try to place your work in an environment with an average temperature. Extreme temperatures or humidities can have an adverse effect on paper-based works, so be sure to keep your beautiful piece protected!

When cleaning the glass take care not to use any cleaning products or sprays, these will remove the special coating that makes the glass resistant to UV rays. A micro-fiber or 'screen' cloth can be used to gently wipe away any dust or smudges that may accumulate over time.
